Yuri Dellacasa is an Italian director and visual storyteller based in Milan, working across documentary, commercials and contemporary visual narratives. Born in 1995 in the historic center of Genoa, Italy, he developed an early interest in image-making and storytelling, focusing on the relationship between people, culture and identity. His work blends a strong visual sensibility with an intimate, authentic approach—often exploring music, subcultures and social dynamics through emotionally grounded stories.

Career Highlights

⁠In 2022, he co-directed La Nuova Scuola Genovese, a feature-length documentary that builds a bridge between singer-songwriters and rappers within the Genovese music scene, linking the historic singer-songwriter tradition to a new generation of artists. The film was released in Italian cinemas and marked an important step in his career.

Alongside documentary work, Yuri directs branded content and advertising projects, with a sharp focus on narrative clarity, visual identity and cinematic craft.
